🚨 Exciting times ahead for Cardiff Rugby! 🚨
Cardiff is eyeing a big-name signing to boost their scrum power. The club is targeting none other than Scott Sio, a prop with a stellar reputation! 🇦🇺✨ This former Wallaby, boasting 74 caps under his belt, is a force on the pitch. After showcasing his skills at Exeter Chiefs, Sio is set to become a key player Cardiff wants for the upcoming 2026/27 season.
With Ed Byrne heading back to Leinster and Corey Domachowski set for the Scarlets, the need for a strong loosehead prop is clear. Cardiff is keen on adding Sio’s wealth of experience to mentor promising talents like Rhys Barratt and Bryan Kamanga.
Coach Corniel van Zyl is on a mission to reinforce the squad and keep Cardiff in top shape. Along with recent successes in retaining stars like Mason Grady and Josh Adams, bringing Sio on board would be a massive statement of intent. 🏉💪
