🏇 Excitement is in the air as the Scottish Grand National kicks off at Ayr today! 🌧️ Despite the challenging conditions with heavy rain making the ground Soft (Heavy in Places), the race is set to thrill horse racing fans everywhere.
However, the race isn’t without its dramas as three top contenders have pulled out. Willie Mullins’ hot favourite, Road To Home, is among those who withdrew, along with Ask Brewster. Magna Sam is also out from the initial field of 21.
🔥 The spotlight now turns to Montregard, who’s set to give JP McManus his maiden victory in this prestigious race, riding high after I Am Maximus’ recent win at Aintree. Montregard recently scored a win at a handicap chase in Ascot and is one to watch today!
