🎉 Cardiff City fans, rejoice! The Bluebirds are back in the Championship after an unforgettable day of football drama. A 3-1 victory over Reading, coupled with a nail-biting draw between Stockport and Exeter, sealed the deal and sparked wild celebrations among the 3,000 travelling fans in Berkshire! 💙
The match was a rollercoaster of emotions. Rubin Colwill set the tone, heading home just before half-time to break the deadlock. A sublime second-half strike from Omari Kellyman, following a pinpoint pass from Ryan Wintle, doubled Cardiff’s lead, sending fans into a frenzy.
But this was a day where destiny danced on the pitch. Reading clawed one back through Daniel Kyerewaa, causing a few nervous moments. Yet, when Perry Ng unleashed a stunning strike from 20 yards, the away end erupted! 🎯
As if that wasn’t enough excitement, Exeter’s dramatic equaliser against Stockport sent Cardiff fans into delirium, confirming Cardiff’s elevation to the Championship.
The final whistle might have been academic, but the celebrations were anything but subdued. Players embraced the travelling supporters, and joyous chaos reigned supreme as Cardiff’s triumphant return was assured.
Here’s to a new chapter in the Championship! 🙌💪 #CCFC #BackToTheChampionship #BluebirdsRising
