⚖️ Justice served: A young man has been sentenced for a horrific crime. Alfie Lee, 19, was found guilty of raping a girl while she slept when he was just 16. The shocking crime has led to him being sent to a young offenders’ institution for four years, with an extra two years on licence.
The sentencing took place at Cardiff Crown Court, where the brave victim courageously shared her impact statement, describing the attack’s toll on her mental health and daily life. Lee’s actions have left her with a “restricted quality of life.”
Despite his young age, the court found Lee to be a high risk to females and the public, citing a lack of maturity and empathy for the victim. He will now face an indefinite restraining order and be required to register as a sex offender.
