Christian Fuchs is turning up the heat as Newport County keeps their EFL survival hopes alive! Despite a setback at Cheltenham Town, Fuchs insists, “We’re still in control!” With two crucial games to go, starting with Oldham at home, the team is putting up a fierce fight to stay in League Two.
Fuchs is buzzing with confidence, “When you look at my team, there’s 100% belief. We’ve got the spirit to bounce back and keep pushing forward.” The fierce support from 1,049 fans in Gloucestershire hasn’t gone unnoticed, and Fuchs is calling for more cheers at the final home game at Rodney Parade.
“It’s been amazing having our fans with us through thick and thin. Let’s pack the stands this Saturday and show Oldham what we’re made of!” He’s proud of the team’s performance despite their recent defeat and knows that with a bit more sharpness in front of goal, they can pull through.
Injuries have been a concern, with Joe Thomas missing the Cheltenham clash, but there’s hope he’ll return for the upcoming battle. Meanwhile, Nathan Opoku’s condition is still under review. 🤞
It’s do or die for the County, so let’s rally behind them and keep the faith!
