A predator has been locked up for 23 years after preying on vulnerable young girls. Michael Allen, from Port Talbot, used their difficult home situations to commit his horrendous crimes. But thanks to the incredible bravery of his victims, justice has been served.

Allen was found guilty of multiple counts of rape involving girls under 13 and under 16 and will remain a registered sex offender for life. The Judge highlighted the serious risk he poses to young girls, and the lifelong preventive measures imposed ensure that he remains under strict control.
