🚨 **Blaze at Former Neath Nightclub!**

A fire erupted at the old Katz Nightclub in Neath during the early hours, causing significant damage to the derelict property. Firefighters tackled the blaze on Tuesday morning after responding just past 3am. The fire affected the first and second floors at the back of the building.

The nightclub has been shut and empty for years, and was even listed for auction in March with a starting price of £145,000. The cause of the fire is still unknown, but investigations are underway.
Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service acted quickly, deploying crews from Neath, Morriston, Pontardawe, and Port Talbot. They used specialised equipment including breathing apparatus, hose reel jets, and thermal imaging cameras to get the fire under control.
Firefighters and South Wales Police were on the scene until nearly 7am. The extent of the damage is still being assessed, but luckily no injuries have been reported.
Stay tuned for more updates as we learn about the impact and any findings from the ongoing investigation. 🔍
