Caught in the act! 🚗💥 A sneaky BMW driver thought he could get away with dumping waste on a rural road in Neath, but little did he know, big brother was watching! 👀

Meet Jurij Sarcenkov, 40, from Bristol, who was slapped with a hefty fine of over £5,000 for repeatedly turning a peaceful road into his personal dumping ground. Thanks to clever surveillance, cameras caught him in the act multiple times. The footage shows him casually parking his blue BMW, popping the boot, and offloading boxes of rubbish onto the side of the road. 🗑️

This fly-tipping fiasco unfolded off the A4109 in Crynant, Neath. The landowners, fed up with the mess, decided enough was enough and set up a hidden CCTV camera to catch the culprit. When the sneaky dumper returned for another round, the cameras were ready. The same car, the same driver, up to the same mischief. 🎥
The footage was handed over to Neath Port Talbot Council, who quickly sprang into action. A trace on the vehicle’s registration led officers straight to Mr Sarcenkov’s door. Despite his attempt at a “no comment” defence, the evidence spoke volumes. 🚓🕵️♂️
Investigators found more of the same waste at his home, proving he was the litterbug in question. In court, he owned up to three environmental offences under the Environmental Protection Act. Besides the fine, he was also ordered to pay costs and a victim surcharge, bringing his total bill to over £5,000! 💸
Let this be a lesson to all—if you’re thinking about dumping rubbish, think again! With vigilant eyes watching, there’s nowhere to hide. 🌍♻️
