Tragic news from North Wales: A person sadly lost their life after being hit by a train between Wrexham and Chester on Wednesday morning. Emergency services rushed to the Rossett area at around 10.50am after receiving reports of someone on the tracks at a level crossing. Despite the quick response from paramedics and British Transport Police, the person could not be saved. Authorities have confirmed that the incident is not being treated as suspicious, and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
The unfortunate event caused train services in both directions to be cancelled until 1pm, with replacement buses stepping in to assist affected travellers.
