Cardiff City celebrated a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Port Vale, making it back-to-back wins after securing promotion! Rubin Colwill came through with a clutch moment of brilliance, finding the net with a crucial late header to separate the sides.
Among the standout performances was Dylan Lawlor, our defensive rock, who was a wall at the back with several key tackles and clearances. Meanwhile, Chris Willock made an instant impact off the bench, providing the pinpoint cross for Colwill’s winner.
Goalkeeper Nathan Trott deserves a nod too, pulling off some vital saves to preserve the clean sheet, while Ronan Kpakio supplied plenty of energy and promising balls from the right flank. Gabriel Osho displayed composure under pressure, and Alex Robertson was ever-present in possession despite some frustrating deliveries.
It wasn’t just about the regulars, though! Omari Kellyman brought some extra spark when he came on, making threatening runs and helping the team see out the win.
