🌞☀️ Cardiff experienced a sunny weekend, attracting heaps of people to Gorsedd Gardens for picnics and barbecues. But, oh dear, the bins just couldn’t manage the surge of rubbish! 🍔🥤 Bin bags, fast food boxes, and bottles piled up, leaving the lovely park a bit of a mess.

With the weather getting better, Cardiff’s parks are becoming hotspots for families, students, and everyone in between. But overflowing bins don’t exactly scream ‘great day out’. 🗑️✨

Local litter heroes, like Keep Roath Tidy, are aware of the problem, especially in popular spots like Roath Park. They’re urging everyone to lend a hand by taking their rubbish home if the bins are full. 🏞️❤️

Cardiff Council is on the case, though! They’ve rolled out a new schedule to empty litter bins more frequently. With over 2,100 litter bins across the city, they’re committed to keeping our parks and streets clean. The Council is asking for a little public patience as they adjust to the new system. 🙌🌿
Next time you’re out enjoying the sun in one of Cardiff’s beautiful parks, let’s all do our part. If the bins are full, try finding another one or take your litter home. Together, we can keep Cardiff clean and green! 🌍♻️ #LoveWhereYouLive #KeepCardiffClean
