🎉 Exciting Update from Swansea City! 🎉
Hey Swans fans! There’s a lot of buzz around Ethan Galbraith’s contract situation. Our talented midfielder has turned down Swansea’s initial offer for a new deal. But don’t worry—talks are in full swing, and there’s optimism in the air! 🦢
Vitor Matos, the club’s key figure, is confident that they’ll sort things out soon. Galbraith has been phenomenal this season with 44 appearances, even catching the attention of other clubs. With two years left on his current contract (plus an optional extra year), Swansea is eager to lock him in with a better package. 💪
Despite a calf injury sidelining him for now, hopes are high that he’ll follow in the footsteps of star striker Zan Vipotnik, who recently signed a deal extending until 2030. Matos is laid-back about the whole scenario, stating it’s all part of a regular negotiation process. 🤞
“The position is a normal position,” Matos said, emphasising that the club aims to strengthen ties with their standout players. “Negotiations are part of that, and I’m optimistic about the outcome,” he added.
So, what makes Galbraith so special? According to Matos, he embodies everything they cherish about the squad. Let’s hope Swansea City secures his talents for years to come!
Stay tuned for more updates. Until then, keep supporting the Swans as they prepare for their next match against Norwich City! ⚽❤️
