🎉 Cardiff City Promotion Party! 🎉
Big news from Cardiff City Stadium! Our Bluebirds have flown back into the Championship and they’re planning a spectacular celebration after this Saturday’s final home game against Northampton Town. The EFL is setting up a special stage on the pitch, so don’t miss the medal ceremony and trophy lift. All fans are urged to stay in the stands as players thank you with a lap of honour. It’s set to be another unforgettable day in Welsh football! 🏆
🌟 Player Spotlight 🌟
Dylan Lawlor, our 20-year-old centre-back, has been a revelation this season. Initially expecting a loan move, he became a key player, making 30 appearances. He couldn’t believe the trust manager Brian Barry-Murphy placed in him. Lawlor credits Barry-Murphy’s game-changing impact and hopes to keep the focus sharp for the season finale. A dream journey for our academy star! 💪
🏥 Injury Update 🏥
Sadly, Cian Ashford will miss the last games due to a back injury. We’ve loved watching the winger in action this season. On a brighter note, Isaak Davies is back and ready for selection, while Eli King is set to shine in pre-season after recovering from an ACL injury. Stay strong, team! ⚽️
🤝 A Word from the Boss 🤝
Brian Barry-Murphy feels “genuinely lucky” to work with such an incredible team. From securing promotion with a thrilling 3-1 win at Reading to managing the quick turnaround for a 1-0 victory over Port Vale, it’s been a whirlwind of emotions for the manager. Thanking everyone from staff to players, Barry-Murphy hints there’s more to come as he brings experience from Rochdale and Manchester City’s academy to Cardiff’s coaching table. 🌟
Here’s to a great end to the season and a bright future ahead! 💙
