Imagine waking up to find your garden gate, furniture, and cherished keepsakes gone! That’s the nightmare Sacha Davies from Cardiff has been living with for months. Since December, thieves have hit her Cowbridge Road West home four times, making off with everything from garden hoses to sentimental Cardiff City signs her late father gave her.

Captured on their ring doorbell, one clip shows a bold burglar, struggling hilariously to lift a garden table at 5am before giving up entirely. Another clip reveals the same thief returning later, now in a cap, to whisk away the last of three treasured ceramic stools.

On December 21st, the ordeal began when they discovered that someone had snatched their garden hose, city signs, and even a stone statue of a woman. Then, on Christmas morning, cheeky culprits returned for more, relieving the family of their garden furniture. Just recently, on April 18th, the heartless thieves even took the front gate!
Sacha says, “We’ve had to spend so much replacing things, but some items, like the signs my dad gave me, are irreplaceable.” Her 12-year-old daughter has questioned why they’re being targeted, and Sacha too is left wondering.
Despite admirable help from the police, who suspect the same people are behind these repeated thefts, the culprits continue to elude capture. The chaos doesn’t end at their home, either, as a neighbour reported a missing gate as well, all leaving Sacha to muse, “What do they even gain? It all just seems so petty.”
Let’s hope the community comes together to support Sacha and her family, and these thieves are caught soon! Keep an eye out, Cardiff. If you’ve seen anything suspicious, contact the police and help bring some peace back to Cowbridge Road West. 🌟🔍✨ #CardiffCommunity #StopTheft #FamilyInNeed
