But what she didn’t realise was that the deployed airbag left a trace of her DNA, unravelling her web of deceit. 🧬
Appearing at Swansea Crown Court, it was made clear that perverting the course of justice is no small matter. Judge Huw Rees had strong words for Jones, highlighting the seriousness of pointing blame at innocents. He acknowledged her troubled past, including a long battle with addiction, but emphasised that her actions had consequences.
With a guilty plea, her sentence was set at 10 months behind bars. She’ll serve up to half in custody, then the rest on licence in the community. It’s a harsh lesson that shows just how quickly a lie can spiral out of control. 🚔🔗
