🔪 **Robber’s Terrifying Courtroom Threat!** 🔪

Ceri Gibson made quite the chilling statement in Swansea Crown Court after being convicted of robbery. With threats of “slicing throats” directed at the jurors, Gibson shocked the courtroom by combining his foul-mouthed rant with a threatening gesture across his neck. His actions left the jury understandably shaken, simply for doing their civic duty.

After his outburst, Gibson was swiftly jailed for juror intimidation. Prosecutor Emily Bennett revealed that Gibson’s threats weren’t just hot air—he was ready to intimidate anyone who stood in his way, with a violent history to back it up.
The story doesn’t end there. When officers attempted to question him in prison, Gibson refused to leave his cell. He later insisted his comments were “empty threats,” claiming a “bad day” was to blame. Nonetheless, his history speaks volumes, with a rap sheet of 36 convictions covering 85 offences, many of them violent.
In the robbery that resulted in his latest conviction, Gibson and an accomplice preyed on a vulnerable man in Swansea. They searched his pockets and made off with all his valuables. For that offence, Gibson’s already serving a nine-year stretch as a dangerous offender.
Judge Catherine Richards, while accepting some of Gibson’s courtroom comments were spontaneous, acknowledged the alarming impact on the jurors. With his guilty pleas, he received an additional 12 months in prison, to be served consecutively to his existing sentence.
It’s a stark reminder of a justice system that works tirelessly to protect public duty participants amidst severe intimidation. Stay safe and stay informed! 📰
