🌿 Exciting changes are coming to Cardiff’s Dominion Way Industrial Estate! Plans have been submitted to spruce up this well-known spot with a nature-friendly makeover. 🚜🏗️
Here’s what’s on the cards: a “dated” office block could be demolished to make way for expanded parking facilities (including more spaces and disabled spots) and a rain garden. There’s a vision to boost biodiversity in the area, transforming it into a more vibrant and ecological space. Think wildflower mixes, bat roosts, and bird boxes to invite nature back in! 🌸🦇
Although some grassland that’s not too ecologically valuable will be removed, the retained grassland will see improvements with native flora to create a thriving environment. There’s even a plan for a safe and secure new cycle parking area to encourage greener commuting! 🚴♀️
The demand for industrial and trade counter spaces is on the rise, outshining the need for traditional offices, making this revamp timely and strategic. 🌟
Local residents and businesses are eagerly waiting as Cardiff Council reviews these development plans. Stay tuned for what promises to be a greener and more efficient upgrade to the area! 💼🌻
