🚗✨ New 20mph Speed Cameras Coming to Cardiff & Bridgend! ✨🚗
Heads up, drivers in Cardiff and Bridgend! This May, watch out as new 20mph speed cameras will be making their debut along some busy roads. Keep an eye out on the A473 Cowbridge Road, near the Coychurch Road junction in Bridgend, and on Rhiwbina Hill in Cardiff.
GoSafe, the team behind speed enforcement across Wales, has confirmed that these cameras will be active from Friday, May 5th. But don’t worry if you’re caught off guard — for the first four weeks, they’ll be sending out advice letters instead of fines or penalties. This friendly nudge aims to remind drivers of the speed limit without immediate consequences, helping keep our roads safer for everyone!
Safety first, folks! Always drive within the limits to prevent accidents and keep our communities safe. 🚦 Let’s make sure we’re all up to speed — no rushing, just smooth and safe rides!
Stay informed and drive safely! 🛣️
