🏉 Rugby fans, could this finally be Morgan Morris’ moment? The Ospreys star, who many reckon is the unluckiest player in Wales, might just be on the cusp of joining the national squad! Despite being tipped for greatness, the powerful No. 8 has somehow remained uncapped. But with Wales’ summer tour featuring a jam-packed schedule across four cities and three continents, coach Steve Tandy might be looking to shake things up with some fresh faces. 💪
Morgan Morris has seen his fair share of ups and downs, dazzling onlookers as a man of the match and earning the Ospreys’ player of the season title multiple times. Yet, he’s never quite caught the former coach Warren Gatland’s eye. It’s been suggested that some players, like the unstoppable Josh Navidi before him, just don’t fit the mould at first glance. But insiders say Morris has faced the brutal honesty of the game head-on and remains a steadfast presence.
Former teammates even jokingly advised Morris to boost his stats with a cheeky 2.5kg plate in his boxers to catch Gatland’s attention!😂
In the last year, despite some tough injury niggles, he’s been a standout performer. His teammates and coaches are rooting for him, with Jac Morgan praising his incredible strength and knack for carrying the ball. And with Taulupe Faletau injured, it might be Morris’ big chance to fill a crucial gap.
As Tandy unveils the extended summer squad soon, will Morgan Morris’ resilience finally pay off with a well-deserved call-up? We’re eagerly waiting to see who’ll be jetting off to San Juan and Durban. Stay tuned for an exciting summer ahead in Welsh rugby! 🏴✨ #WelshRugby #MorganMorris #Ospreys
