🚨 Election News Alert! 🚨
The first results from the 2026 Senedd election are in, and it’s a surprising win for Reform UK in the Casnewydd Islwyn constituency! 🎉 With a narrow victory over Plaid Cymru, they pulled in 23,571 votes, while Plaid clawed closely behind with 23,069. Labour and the Conservatives trailed with 10,622 and 8,847 votes respectively.
Reform UK leader Dan Thomas was all smiles as he thanked the Welsh Valleys for their support. He stated, “The people have spoken, and now they have a voice in Reform. We promise to put the people of Wales first!”
But wait, it gets spicier! 🔥 Darts champ and proud supporter Gerwyn Price couldn’t hide his excitement. Just before the results, he was hopeful, sharing on social media: “The amount of people I know that are voting Reform is unbelievable.”
Fun fact: Price even posted about enjoying some chips outside Dan Thomas’ chip shop – those chips must taste even better with this sweet win! 😆🍟
Amidst his health challenges, Price still supports his favourite party and is headed to the 2026 UK Open Pool Championship, proving he’s a fighter both on and off the oche. 🎯
What a start to the Senedd elections! Stay tuned as the results unfold… 🗳️
