Just had my first-ever Wetherspoon breakfast, and boy, was it an experience! 🍳🥓 Popped in at 9am expecting a quiet start, but the place was already buzzing. Even saw a few folks enjoying pints – talk about starting early! 🍻

Settled in with a “traditional breakfast” for just £6.09. Fried egg, bacon, sausage, hash browns, beans, and toast, plus unlimited coffee for £1.85 – deal of the day! The Lavazza coffee even rivalled some big-name coffee chains. Who knew?

Now, about that breakfast – comforting and certainly easy on the purse. It might not win any culinary awards, but it’s a solid no-frills start to the day. However, I did notice something amiss: no tomatoes or mushrooms. I guess they only make an appearance with the larger breakfast. 🤔
Size-wise, it wasn’t the most generous. The hash browns were on the petite side and the sausage could’ve been a bit bigger, but the flavours were decent enough. A dash more seasoning could’ve elevated it, but at this price, can’t really grumble!
So, if you’re looking for a budget-friendly brekkie to kickstart your day or unwind after a night out, Wetherspoons has got you covered. Just don’t go in expecting gourmet, and you won’t be disappointed! 🌞🍴
