🚨🔥 Arson Alert in Gower! Help Needed! 🔥🚨
Hey everyone, we need your help! South Wales Police have issued a plea to the public for information about a series of suspicious fires in the beautiful Gower area. This gorgeous spot, known for its stunning landscapes and unique wildlife, has been under threat due to these intentional fires. 😟
What’s particularly concerning is that these fires are happening outside the designated burning season, which ended in March. This is seriously harming our precious wildlife, including nesting birds, lizards, snakes, and small mammals. The area is a designated Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI), meaning it boasts rare and protected species of flowers, plants, and animals. 🌿🐦
PC Simon Chadwick has highlighted the grave impact these fires are having on the environment. With areas meant to be protected now in danger, it’s crucial we step up and protect what we can before it’s too late!
Anyone with information—no matter how small—could make a huge difference. Please reach out to South Wales Police if you know anything. If you wish to remain anonymous, you can report to Crimestoppers on 08000 555 111.
Let’s come together and keep Gower safe for wildlife and future generations to enjoy. Share this post to spread the word! 🙏⚠️
