🚆💍 All aboard for love! Forget the traditional stretch limo—one adventurous Welsh bride decided to make a grand entrance on her big day via the South Wales Metro. Bethan and her bridal party added an unexpected sprinkle of joy to passengers’ journeys as they made their way from Birchgrove to Penarth to tie the knot.

Instead of the usual limo, Bethan opted for a ride on the new electric class 756 train, surprising guests and even getting the special treat of sitting in the driver’s cab! 🎉

Bethan and her now-husband Chris are regulars on the Coryton line, and their unique wedding choice was inspired by years of happy travels on this reliable route. Talk about a love train! 🚉❤️

Bethan shared, “We’ve always loved using the Coryton line to quickly access beautiful Penarth. Choosing to take one of the lovely new trains to our wedding seemed like the perfect way to celebrate.”
Transport for Wales couldn’t be happier for the couple. In the words of their Chief Operating Officer, Marie Daly: “Bethan and Chris’ wedding journey reminds us of how public transport can connect us to life’s most important moments.”
Congrats to the happy couple, and cheers to making unforgettable memories along the tracks! 🥂✨
