The 47-year-old appeared at Swansea Magistrates’ Court, pleading guilty to six counts of shop theft and earning himself an eight-month stint behind bars. PC Christian Thomas didn’t mince words, calling Wolsey a persistent offender oblivious to the havoc he’s wreaked on local businesses. “Shop workers shouldn’t have to deal with this nonsense,” Thomas emphasised, promising relentless action against shoplifters.
