π What a whirlwind 24 hours for Dragons star Harri Keddie! Just a day after being called up to join Wales’ summer squad, Keddie found himself welcoming his second daughter into the world. Talk about a dreamy week for the back-row dynamo!

After getting the nod from Steve Tandy for the upcoming summer fixtures, including a match against the legendary Barbarians and Nations Championship clashes with Fiji, Argentina, and South Africa, Keddie was already riding high. But the excitement hit new heights with the arrival of his newborn.
“I had a smile on my face when I came into training,” Keddie shared, clearly over the moon. As he gets ready to wrap up the season with the Dragons, this new chapter couldn’t have kicked off better!

Despite not having earned a Test cap yet, Keddie’s no stranger to the national setup. A decade ago, he was prepping with the senior squad post his standout performances in Wales U20s’ Grand Slam-winning team. Fast forward to now, at 29, and heβs ready to compete alongside seasoned players like Sam Warburton and Dan Lydiate.
With plenty of competition in the back-row, including fellow Dragons Aaron Wainwright and Ryan Woodman, Keddie’s got his eyes on securing a spot against the Barbarians at Twickenham. π―

Reflecting on his journey, he says, “I just feel incredibly privileged to be deemed good enough for the call-up. I am eager to see what I can learn and how much better I can get.”
Congrats to Harri on both the personal and professional fronts. Ready to cheer him on as he balances nappies with national pride! πππΆ
