A spoonful of wine and a dash of guilt! 🍷🍴 A cheeky attendee at ND John Wine Merchants’ Eurovision-themed supper club in Swansea decided to take home a pair of novelty guitar-shaped spoons after enjoying a bit too much vino. But, lo and behold, conscience kicked in! Not long after, the mysterious spoon swiper returned the goods, along with a heartfelt apology letter, all tucked inside a brown envelope.

The charming note confessed, “After six glasses of top-notch wine and enough food, I became, at around 8.45pm, a novelty cutlery thief.” The anonymous returnee assured they aren’t usually prone to such antics and sheepishly admitted they’re eagerly awaiting the next tasting event. It’s all in good fun at ND John, where the Eurovision supper club has become a quirky tradition. Guests dress up, indulge in fabulous wines, and vote for their favourites, all in the spirit of Eurovision! 🎶🍷

Chris, the club manager, shared, “The spoons were part of our dessert service. It’s amusing to think who among our wine lovers had this lapse in judgement. Although it wasn’t something we’d officially pursue, the gesture of returning them was warmly appreciated.”

So, who knows? Next time you’re at ND John’s, maybe you’ll be holding those famous spoons – minus the urge to pocket them! Cheers to good wine, great fun, and even better stories! 🍷✨ #SwanseaSpoons #WineAndWisdom #SwanseaLife
