🚨 Exciting Update from Ospreys! 🚨

Ospreys chief Lance Bradley has revealed that they’re edging closer to signing the new Professional Rugby Agreement (PRA) with the Welsh Rugby Union. While the deal isn’t finalised yet, Lance assures us there are no major hiccups—just a few details to iron out! 🏉✨

Both Ospreys and Scarlets are expected to join Cardiff and Dragons on this new PRA 25, lasting until 2030. This comes amid ongoing talks about streamlining the number of Welsh rugby regions from four to three by the 2028/29 season. The WRU has plans to present a clear roadmap for this shift soon.
When asked about potential budget cuts, Bradley confirmed there are no such plans, though there have been discussions about quick-turnaround recruitment strategies.
Despite rumblings from senior sources about negotiations hitting a standstill, Bradley remains optimistic. He cherishes the intense rivalry between Ospreys and Scarlets, calling it the biggest club game in Welsh rugby. “Everybody likes to hate everybody else, but it’s a fantastic game,” he says, hoping the four-region model continues. 🤞🎉
