**Trial for Tristan Shae Kerr’s Murder Pushed Back**

The trial of Ricardo Elliot, Elexi Manny, Georgie Mears, and Connor Palfrey, accused of murdering 17-year-old Tristan Shae Kerr, has been postponed by two months. Initially set for August, the trial will now commence on October 5, following a hearing at Newport Crown Court. All four defendants have pleaded not guilty.
Tristan tragically lost his life to stab wounds in Abertridwr, on 5th February. Remembered fondly by his family, his aunt Rachel Spriggs shared a heartfelt tribute: “Tristan was a deeply loved son, grandson, and friend. A well-known character with a passion for motorbikes and adventure, he filled every room he entered with energy and warmth. He was truly his mother’s son: strong and brave.”

Tristan was also a role model to his younger brother, Conan. Following his untimely death, a fundraiser aiming to support his funeral costs has garnered over £5,000, showcasing the community’s love and support.
Let’s remember Tristan for the bright spirit he was, and may justice soon shine light on this heartbreaking case.
