🌊💵 Welsh Water Cash Payout Alert! 🚰🏡

Thousands of Welsh households are about to receive compensation from Welsh Water in just days. After a “boil water notice” was issued for parts of Rhondda Cynon Taf, folks were cautioned to boil tap water before any use, making this heatwave even trickier to handle. With record-breaking temperatures, bottled water stations sprung up county-wide.

Good news! The boil water notice is being lifted in phases. Some areas, like Penrhys and Ferndale, are already back to normal. Others, including Treforest and Tonypandy, are expected to follow soon. Check your status by postcode on Dŵr Cymru’s website.
Compensation details? 💰
– Household: £40 after 48 hours, plus £20 for each additional 24 hours.
– Businesses: £60 after 48 hours, plus £40 for each additional 24 hours.
Payments will be automatic, either straight to your bank or as an account credit. If Welsh Water doesn’t have your bank details, expect a cheque, though this might take a bit longer.
As Welsh Water works to safely restore services across all areas, bottled water stations will remain open as needed. Massive thanks to everyone for your patience during this challenging time! Remember, public health is the number one priority and they’re working hard to ensure top-quality water for all.
