🎉 Bridgend Council’s Education Services Shine Bright! 🌟
Big congratulations are in order for Bridgend County Borough Council, as they’ve just received an exceptional shoutout from Estyn, the education and training inspectorate for Wales. After a recent inspection, the report praised the council’s top-notch safeguarding, inclusive learner support, and amazing collaboration between schools and partner organisations.
Bridgend, home to more than 22,000 pupils across 59 schools, is doing something right! Whether in primary, secondary, or special education settings, the “Team Bridgend” spirit is clearly making waves. The council has shown a strong commitment to improving school performance, earning positive inspection feedback, and supporting students with additional needs.
The council’s efforts in early years education were also commended, noting their fantastic multi-agency approach that identifies and responds to children’s needs swiftly.
While the report is full of high praise, there was a suggestion to enhance their self-evaluation and improvement planning. But overall, it’s clear that the dedication, professionalism, and hard work by the education services in Bridgend County Borough are truly paying off.
Councillor Martyn Jones hailed the report as a testament to the commitment and drive across the education services. 🎓✨
Way to go, Bridgend! Keep up the great work and keep making a difference in the lives of your students. 🌈📚
