🚀 Exciting news from NASA! After the groundbreaking success of the Artemis II mission, they’ve unveiled thrilling plans for a permanent moon base. 🌕 Imagine this: humans living and working on the Moon!
The journey kicks off with three moon missions set for lift-off by 2026, using high-tech uncrewed landers. Despite the Moon’s extreme temperatures and lack of atmosphere, NASA is ready to tackle these challenges with grit and determination.
Here’s the game plan:
1️⃣ Phase One (Now – 2029): Robotic missions will scout the lunar South Pole and test technologies.
2️⃣ Phase Two (2029 – 2032): Semi-permanent infrastructure will be set up for early habitation.
3️⃣ Phase Three (2032 and beyond): The dream becomes reality with a sustained human presence and regular crew rotations on the lunar surface.
Plus, NASA has teamed up with Blue Origin, owned by Amazon’s Jeff Bezos, for hardware development. They’re aiming to build a base spanning hundreds of square miles! It’s a fantastic collaboration that also rivals Elon Musk’s SpaceX. 🛰️
Stay tuned, as the moon becomes more than just a distant light in the night sky—it’s about to become our new neighbourhood! 💫✨
