Heartbreak in Carmarthen 💔: 21-year-old Annie Evans-Lewis, who recently moved to Western Australia, tragically passed away after a car crash near Perth. Annie suffered a seizure while driving, leading to a loss of control and a collision with a tree. Despite emergency care, she succumbed to her injuries that same day.

Her family is now facing a hefty £35,000 bill to bring Annie back to Wales for her final farewell. In response, a fundraiser has been initiated to aid with repatriation costs, funeral arrangements in Australia, travel expenses for the family, and other related costs.

Annie was deeply loved by all who knew her. Described as “energetic, chaotic, hilarious, and kind,” she was a beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin, girlfriend, and friend. The outpouring of love and support for her family has been overwhelming, offering comfort during this unimaginably painful time.
Emily Davies, who started the fundraiser, said, “The support has been undeniably incredible, and we can’t thank everyone enough. It’s a massive relief knowing we have one less barrier in getting Annie home and giving her the best send-off she deserves.”
In just a short time, the community has rallied together, raising over £34,000 towards the goal. If you’d like to help Annie’s family bring her home, donations are welcomed.
Let’s come together to support Annie’s family in this journey. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings them closer to their goal and offers some solace in their time of need. 🕊️❤️
