⚡️ Heads up, folks! ⚡️ The Met Office has just released a yellow thunderstorm warning for several parts of Wales and beyond. Get ready for torrential rain, lightning, hail, and gusty winds from midnight until 4 am this Thursday. ⛈️ While the skies may have been friendly earlier, things are about to get a bit wild!
If you’re in Wales, East Midlands, London, or parts of England’s northwestern and southwestern regions, be prepared. Roads might be slicker than usual, and travel might take a bit longer. And remember, lightning can cause a whole lot more than just flashing lights—flooding and power cuts could be on the cards.
Stay safe: avoid standing under trees or open areas if you hear thunder. Your best bet? Seek shelter, maybe even your car, until the storm passes. Let’s weather this storm safely together! 💪
Check to see if your area is affected and take care out there! 🌧️ #WeatherWarning #StaySafe #UKStorms
