🚨 Dramatic Rescue in Pembrokeshire! 🚨

A heart-stopping rescue unfolded at Church Doors near Lydstep when a child took a tumble onto rocks during an organised coasteering adventure. The coastguard and RNLI teams sprang into action in the nick of time, battling against a fast-approaching tide to save the day.

The young adventurer fell around four metres but remained conscious, though he was experiencing back pain. Enter the heroes: an inshore RNLI lifeboat crew and the Tenby Coastguard Rescue Team swiftly came to the rescue. Immobilising the child, they secured him on a stretcher and whisked him to a larger lifeboat where parents waited anxiously. 🌊🚁

With the tide closing in and the helicopter making its way from Newquay, the decision was made to keep the child on the lifeboat until the paramedic arrived. After a thorough assessment, it was all hands on deck to get him safely to Tenby, where an ambulance stood by to rush him to hospital.
Kudos to the swift and expert efforts of the RNLI and coastguard! 🙌🏼 A huge shoutout to the safety gear, especially the helmet, which possibly prevented more severe injuries. Always remember to use a recognised National Coasteering Charter (NCC) provider—they keep adventure safe!
Wishing this young explorer a speedy recovery! 🛟✨
