The UK Government is stepping up with a plan to fight back. They’ve announced a strategy to invest over £250 million to crack down on these scams between 2026 and 2029.
Lord David Hanson, the Minister for Fraud, states: “Honest customers face higher premiums because of these fraudsters chasing profits. We’re taking action with the IFB to bring these criminals to justice and protect consumers.”
