🚨 **Emergency Alert in Treharris!** 🚒
Police and fire crews have rushed to a serious fire on Victoria Street, Treharris, this Sunday afternoon. In a bid to ensure everyone’s safety, homes in the area have been evacuated, and residents are being sheltered at the local community hall.
If you’re nearby, do keep your windows and doors firmly shut to keep the smoke out. There’s a lot of smoke with large plumes visible from afar. Roads are closed around Mary Street and Thomas Street, so it’s best to steer clear and let the emergency services handle the situation.
Authorities are urging everyone to avoid the area to allow quick and efficient work. If you’re in Treharris, head to safety, and make sure your neighbours, especially those who might need assistance, are informed and safe too.
Stay safe, keep updated, and look out for each other! ❤️🔥
