But that’s not all! The initiative also boasts a 40-place Flying Start centre for little ones under four, plus dedicated learning resource centres for both primary and secondary levels. 🏫

Pending approval from the Welsh Government, the school transformation is eagerly anticipated by many, including Milford Haven Primary School headteacher Stephen Thomas, who called it “long awaited” and “a vision becoming a reality.”

Funding will be split, with 67.75% coming from the Welsh Government and the rest from Pembrokeshire Council. The expected timeline suggests the English-medium school might be ready by 2030 and the Welsh-medium one by 2032.

To top it off, plans for a new leisure centre are underway, although this will be funded separately from the school project. It’s safe to say Milford Haven is gearing up for a dynamic future! 🏗️ What do you think about these upcoming changes? Share your thoughts! 💬
