🚨 M&S Newport Closing Alert! 🏬
Sad news for shopaholics in Newport: the beloved M&S Foodhall in Friars Walk is calling it a day. Mark your calendars because June 20th is the last chance to get your M&S goodies from this location. 🗓️🛍️
This closure is part of a broader trend with M&S reshaping its presence in Wales due to the changing shopping habits of customers. Last year, we saw the Cwmbran store close, followed by the Swansea branch just last week. This has sparked concerns about the future of M&S stores across the region. 💬
But don’t fret, Newport! M&S is still committed to serving you from their nearby store at Newport Retail Park, just a short drive away. 🚗 Plus, you can always shop online! 🛒💻
Richard Owen, M&S Regional Manager, shared, “Our M&S at Friars Walk in Newport will close on June 20. This decision forms part of our plans to reshape our store estate so we can invest in stores that better meet the needs of our customers.”
It’s a bittersweet moment as M&S continues to evolve after celebrating their 130th anniversary in Wales. 🥳 Here’s hoping for more great shopping experiences ahead! 🌟
Share your memories of the Newport M&S and let us know how you’ll be adjusting! 💬✨
