🚨 Rugby Fans Alert! 🚨
The Scarlets are on the hunt for a new fly-half, and there’s buzz about two familiar names: Gareth Anscombe and Dan Jones. 🚀
Anscombe, currently with French side Bayonne, is reportedly eyeing a move back to Wales and could be in line for a one-year deal before venturing into coaching. Meanwhile, Dan Jones, who’s been doing his thing with Ealing Trailfinders, has Scarlets fans excited with the possibility of a return. He previously spent a decade with the team, racking up an impressive 682 points!
Scarlets are eager to bring in an experienced number 10 to complement their squad, especially with Sam Costelow committed to Wales and rising star Carwyn Leggatt-Jones still growing in the professional ranks. 🏉
The club has been actively bolstering its squad for the upcoming season, adding solid talents like Corey Domachowski, John McKee, George Roberts, and Harvey Cuckson. And that’s not all—New Zealand’s Cullen Grace and South Africa’s Alex Groves are also on the wish list!
In other exciting Welsh rugby news, the Ospreys are on the prowl for a new number 10 after Jack Walsh’s departure, with a France-based player in their sights. And they’re eyeing former Wallabies backrower Liam Wright too!
Meanwhile, Cardiff isn’t standing still—they’re looking to bring back Jarrod Evans from Harlequins and are keen to strengthen their second-row.
