A dangerous driving incident has landed Corey Morgan, a 21-year-old from Ebbw Vale, behind bars. The court heard that Morgan had been drinking and using cannabis and cocaine before getting into a heated argument with his partner. Things took a terrifying turn when Morgan jumped into his car, pursued her friend and a pregnant woman driving a Kia, and repeatedly rammed their vehicle.

This shocking pursuit ended when Morgan’s car came to a dramatic halt; it swerved, hit a tree, and flipped over. Despite claiming he wasn’t driving, police found him under the influence and without insurance. The situation left the pregnant driver fearing for her safety and that of her young son.

Morgan was sentenced to eight months in prison for dangerous driving. He’s banned from driving for 22 months and must pass an extended test to get back on the road. This reckless act was made more volatile with alcohol and drugs in the mix, a decision Morgan’s barrister described as a “massive, massive mistake.”
Remember folks, staying safe on the roads is crucial. There’s no excuse for endangering lives with such reckless behaviour. Stay responsible and look out for one another! 🚗💨 #RoadSafety #StaySafe
