🔥 Neath’s B&M Bargains Hit by Fire Drama! 🔥
This past weekend, the B&M store on Riverside Drive in Neath unexpectedly closed its doors due to an early morning fire on Saturday. The incident caused significant damage to the store’s exterior, leaving the shelter visibly charred and smoke-blackened walls.
Fire crews from Neath and Morriston were quick on the scene, battling the blaze with hose reel jets and other gear. Their hard work paid off as they managed to bring the situation under control in a matter of hours, wrapping up operations by 4:33am. Despite initial worries, police have confirmed there’s no suspicion of arson, although the exact cause remains a mystery. 🚒
Some rumours circulated online, but let’s stick to confirmed info—thankfully, no injuries were reported. Photos show the store’s parking lot cordoned off over the weekend while firefighting efforts continued. Shoppers can breathe a sigh of relief, as the branch reopened on Sunday afternoon. However, reports suggest a smoky scent still lingers in the air.
