A night out at Chelsea’s Rex Rooms turned dramatic when Saracens academy player, Totoa Auvaa, reportedly got involved in a nightclub clash with England cricket stars Ben Stokes and Gus Atkinson. Following a fun-filled day celebrating their season’s end, several Saracens players hit the club, coinciding with England’s victorious Test against New Zealand. The night, however, took a turn when a scuffle allegedly erupted between the rugby and cricket players and a security member.
While the exact details are still unfolding about who did what, it’s said that Stokes and Atkinson stayed past their team’s midnight curfew, raising eyebrows given previous incidents involving alcohol. Despite the late-night chaos, no other England cricketers are believed to have broken the curfew.
Saracens are currently delving into the situation and liaising with authorities, promising to take necessary actions once complete details are available. Meanwhile, the England Cricket Board is investigating, leaving Stokes and Atkinson out of the squad for the upcoming Test at The Oval, with Harry Brook stepping up as interim captain.
