🚨 Big News for Rugby Fans! 🚨
The Ospreys have pulled off a stunning signing by bringing in former Wallabies captain, Liam Wright! This move is a massive boost for the team and could even see Wright playing for Wales in the future.
Liam Wright, standing tall at 6ft 4in, is known for his dynamic play as a blindside flanker. With six caps for Australia, he led the Wallabies against Wales in 2024 but has been out of international action due to a shoulder injury. Now, he’s set to make waves in the Welsh scene, potentially qualifying to represent Wales by 2027 through his Pembrokeshire roots. 🌟
“I’m excited to join the Ospreys, a club with a rich history and passionate fanbase,” says Wright. With his experience as both a player and a coach, he’s ready to dive into this new chapter and bring his expertise to the team.
Ospreys’ head coach Mark Jones couldn’t be happier: “Signing Liam is a real statement for us. He’s got international quality and his leadership will help our team grow.”
This signing comes on the heels of other new additions, like Wales wing Tom Rogers and Dan John. The Ospreys are clearly making big moves to bolster their squad.
Rugby fans, this is one signing you won’t want to miss! 🏉🔥
