⚽️ Exciting times for Cardiff City and Omari Kellyman fans! Chelsea have just announced that the talented youngster won’t be joining their pre-season tour, as they’re keen for him to gain more first-team experience elsewhere. Speculation is rife that he could be heading out on loan again soon, and Cardiff City are eager to land him after a stellar year with the Bluebirds. 💙
Kellyman, just 20, was instrumental in Cardiff’s return to the Championship, netting 11 goals during the campaign. Chelsea sees another loan as a vital step in his development, and Cardiff is hoping the strong ties between their coaching staff and Chelsea bigwigs can help seal the deal. 🤞
Meanwhile, Cardiff City are gearing up for a notable pre-season friendly! They’ll be facing Cork City on July 14th, which is a homecoming of sorts for Cardiff head coach, Brian Barry-Murphy. This match marks the first-ever clash between these two teams and kicks off a series of pre-season fixtures as Cardiff prepares for their Championship journey. 🏆
In international news, three of Cardiff’s own young talents started for Wales U19s in their friendly against Sweden. Despite a 3-1 defeat, this was a valuable experience for Jac Thomas, Noah Williams, and Robert Tankiewicz. With the European U19 Championship approaching, these youngsters are gaining crucial exposure on the international stage. 🌍
Keep an eye on the Bluebirds as they continue to make waves both at home and abroad! #CardiffCity #Bluebirds #OmariKellyman #CorkCityFriendly 🕊️
