Big Changes at This Year’s Royal Welsh Show 🇬🇧
A beloved tradition will be missing from this year’s Royal Welsh Show in Builth Wells. 🎪🐴 The King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery, known for their electrifying performances, will not be appearing following the heartbreaking death of Lance Bombardier Ciara Sullivan.
Ciara, a fearless and gifted horsewoman, tragically passed away after a fall from her horse at the Royal Windsor Horse Show. She was a vibrant presence, having participated in major national events, including the Queen’s state funeral and the recent coronation.
The Royal Welsh Agricultural Society has expressed deep sympathies to Ciara’s family, friends, and fellow soldiers. While everyone will miss the spirited display from the King’s Troop this year, we understand and support their decision during this incredibly difficult time.
The Royal Welsh Show, the UK’s largest agricultural event, continues to be a highlight for over 200,000 visitors each day, celebrating the best of British agriculture and rural life.
Join us in remembering Ciara Sullivan, a brilliant young soldier who left an indelible mark. Our thoughts are with her loved ones and colleagues. 🌹
