🚧 Safety Concerns at Cardiff’s Sainsbury’s 🚧
Heads up, Cardiff locals! There are safety concerns over the stability of the land at the Sainsbury’s in Thornhill. With a wall having collapsed just north of the store, urgent engineering works have been given the go-ahead to make the area safe again.
The approved plans involve extensive groundwork, setting up a new boundary fence, and necessary tree removal for safe access. But don’t worry, any trees taken down will be replaced to maintain the green vibe!
The supermarket’s application highlighted the urgent need to address the unstable land, preventing further movement and ensuring the safety of everyone around. Importantly, the planned work is expected to have minimal impact on nearby homes and businesses.
