๐ Young Heroes Alert! Meet Menna, 5, and Bronwen, 6, from Carmarthen, who sprang into action when their grandad took a tumble. Armed with first aid skills they picked up at St John Ambulance Cymru, these sisters stayed calm and collected during a potentially terrifying moment.

๐ฅ When their grandad had a fall at home, the duo immediately called their dad, with Bronwen reassuring him, “no need to panic.” Meanwhile, Menna was already applying pressure to the cut on grandad’s head, and even got the front door unlocked for their dad’s arrival. Talk about teamwork!
๐ช Proud dad Daniel is over the moon with their quick thinking, saying, “I cannot be prouder of them for what they have learnt and how calm they both were in a stressful situation.”

๐ Their quick actions didn’t go unnoticed. Badger leader Donna Jones praised them for their smart response and presented them with special badges at their next session, a humble yet worthy recognition for their bravery.
๐จโ๐ฉโ๐งโ๐ง Menna and Bronwen are already following in the footsteps of their parents, who volunteer with St John Ambulance. Seems like helping others is a family tradition!

Kudos to these young champions for proving that you’re never too young to make a difference! ๐
