Take That mania has officially hit Cardiff! 🎶🎪 Fans of the iconic band have already started setting up camp outside the Principality Stadium to secure the best spot for their much-awaited circus-themed gig. A dedicated bunch arrived as early as 6:30 am on Monday, ready to spend a full night under the stars so they can be right at the front when doors open on Tuesday evening.
Among the dedicated fans is Claire Guckian, a nurse from Edinburgh, who has been at the barrier for every show on this tour, from Glasgow to Sunderland. Claire, along with her friends from Dubai and Aberdeen, is no stranger to this rock ‘n’ roll camping lifestyle. She’s swapped comfort for camaraderie and has a collection of Take That tattoos to prove her devotion! 🎤✨
For Claire and others, it’s more than just a concert; it’s like a reunion with the Take That family they’ve built over 30 years. They spend their time catching up, sharing stories, and looking out for one another. With facilities like toilets and an organised queuing system, they’ve got everything they need to make this outdoor adventure enjoyable.
“This is like meeting the family,” Claire says. “We come together, share meals, and enjoy the vibe before the big show.” It’s a community feeling, complete with laughs and a few cheeky drinks before they all head in for the performance.
Despite the lack of sleep and the eagerness of an early queue, Claire’s spirits remain high. Her 16-year-old son even joined her in Glasgow for a nostalgic trip down memory lane—the last time he “attended” a concert was when she was pregnant with him during their first circus tour.
Before wrapping up, she’s heading to catch Harry Styles in London post-Take That, proving her dedication to live music knows no bounds!
With the excitement mounting, Cardiff’s buzzing with a festival-like atmosphere. Here’s to unforgettable memories and the magic of music bringing people together! 🎵❤️ #TakeThatTour #CardiffNights #FanFamily
