🔔 Heads up, lunch lovers! Waitrose has just made a change to their popular meal deal. Known for classy eats, they’ve bumped the price of their go-to lunch option from £5 to £5.50. It’s the first hike since launching the deal in 2023.
Meal deals are the perfect fix for those busy days when you’re on the go without a packed lunch. Consisting of a main (like a sandwich, wrap, or salad), a drink, and a snack, they’ve become a lunchtime staple across the UK. Despite the price increase, Waitrose promises their deal continues to provide exceptional value and quality with a variety of options like club sandwiches, pasta salads, and sushi.
🛒 But don’t worry if you’re pinching pennies! Other supermarkets have options too. Asda’s got a meal deal priced at £3.74, while Co-op offers theirs for £3.75 if you’re a member. Tesco fans can grab theirs for £3.85 with a Clubcard, and Sainsbury’s deal costs £3.95. So, plenty of choices out there without overspending!
