Get ready, rugby fans! The Barbarians are all set to take on the mighty Springboks in Port Elizabeth, and they’ve unveiled a team packed with international stars. Leading the charge is Wales’ own Elliot Dee, the only Welsh player in this diverse squad.

Joining him on the field will be legendary former All Blacks scrum-half TJ Perenara, stepping up as captain. The Barbarians boast an impressive line-up with 19 internationals from 11 different countries. They’ll face off against the world champions with talent from all corners of the rugby world.

Look out for exciting pairings like Munster’s Alex Nankivell alongside France’s Virimi Vakatawa and the schoolmates-turned-rivals reunion of Scotland’s Duhan van der Merwe with South Africa’s Warrick Gelant.
Coach Scott Robertson shares the team’s enthusiasm: “Playing against the world champions in South Africa is an incredible opportunity. The group has really embraced the Barbarians spirit and tradition, and it’s going to be fantastic to see them showcase their skills.”
After taking on the Springboks, the Barbarians head to the UK to meet Wales at Twickenham on June 27. Will you be watching? 🤔🏉
